So — have been messing about with this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just guess and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out returns with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it’s here each way odds calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that actually made a difference was the more serious tools. The odds-to-probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface feels a bit basic — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
